Of course what you refer to is someone saying "Hey,cool cats" Dog became popular when women got tired of the fox label started calling guys dogs because we were always "sniffing" around them. Also an old expression is "I'm top dog in my house." With the arrival of Snoop Dogg and other M.C.s it just took off

uhhhhhhh........ obviously that was a LONG time ago because i do not remember that. Maybe it's because dogs can be stronger or something IDK
