Panic attacks are extremely ugly and I suffered very badly over the years with them. However, if u try to alter your thought process, u can actually control them. Ask yourself whats the worst that can happen? I read books that really helped 'Feel The Fear and Do It Anyway' - good read. I found, with time, they really didnt dog my life any more. My own doctors advice was to do everthing with a purpose. They wont always be with you, dont allow them ur precious time.

If you have had ALL physiological causes completely ruled out and been diagnosed with an anxiety disorder or panic attacks, you should have been given a treatment program as well. This is a treatable condition. There are medications available and therapists deal with this all the time. Have a frank discussion with your physician about what your treatment plan for anxiety and panic attacks is going to be. There is no reason this should have to affect your life so much, or you should go without treatment for your condition. Good luck.

Panic attacks are frightening but fortunately physically harmless episodes...It occur when person is exposed to various events which causes the panic attacks...Consult a doctor and get treatment immediately which is the best for you now....Never be afraid of anything this leads to many problems so be normal and divert your mind to read books or listen to music etc...Never be afraid which is the root cause of all diseases...

Have you been diagnosed with panic attacks?

Have you seen and asthma/allergy doctor to make sure you do not have asthma? Sometimes family doctors do not test for asthma.

You can go to a psychiatrist for your panic attacks.

You can take yoga classes to help you learn to control your breathing- they will help you re-learn how to take a deep breath.

You may need to be on an antidepressant to help with your anxiety.
