Why do some say the BOA is fraudulent when they have no evidence?

and know nothing about it in sufficient detail to hold an opinion?

For instance, when antis say that when the papyrus fragments of the BOA was discovered in 1977 it was proof that Joseph Smith invented the whole BOA because the amount of inscriptions on the hypocephalus would hardly fill one page, do they understand what witnesses said about the size of the Papyrus scroll of the BOA and what scraps were actually found in 77, and, if they do, how do they make any kind of case that fits the evidence?

The BoA is the book of Abraham.

It is fraudulent along with the book of mormon because Joseph Smith invented both of them. He was a liar.

Smith allegedly wrote the Book of Mormon from symbols like Egyptian hieroglyphics. So he should have been able to translate the document that he used to pen the Book of Abraham as well. But at the time, no one was able to proof his translation because no one could translate Egyptian hieroglyphics. But then the Rosetta Stone was found which included Egyptian hieroglyphics and it's translation into two other known languages. The Rosetta Stone was the key to understanding and translating hieroglyphics. The document that Smith had used to write the BOA was translated, and Smith's previous translation was not acceptable. The document was about the mummification process and the sun God Rah. It had nothing to do with Abraham. If Smith misinterpreted the BOA hieroglyphics, then it follows to reason that he probably wasn't very accurate with the Book of Mormon translation either.

I have no idea what you're talking about. What is BOA? Joseph Smith I know, but BOA?

Edit: Thank you, What, for clearing that up. Odd that the questioner didn't bother to do so.

No matter what BOA means, Joseph Smith is a false prophet teaching a false doctrine.

Since DNA evidence has come into common use in court cases, over 200 people have been let off death row - who were convicted with primarily EYE WITNESS TESTIMONY.

As you can see, eye witness testimony doesnt mean SQUAT.

And either way you cut it, J. Smitty was a fraud. He was even prosecuted for fraud in NY for taking money in a scheme to "scry" for lost treasure.
