That is baloney, if it were true, the company would have been bankrupt many, many years ago.

Absolutely FALSE. I don't know where that rumor came from. Maybe someone by chance, got a bad tank of gas with water in it or something. ARCO ( Atlantic Richfield Company) is just as high quality as anyone else's gasoline, which is regulated by the government. There is an ARCO about 5 minutes from my house, I have a car, truck, and 2 Harleys that have extensively built hi-perf engines and I have been running their gas for over 5 years because they are the cheapest in my area and have never had ANY problems that were gasoline related.

That is false. All gasoline is made by refineries and different companies such as arco (bp), shell, exxon, etc, buy the same gas and add their own additives. So basically all gas is the same, except for some very minor insignificant additives. Arco gas gets that rep because it is usually cheaper than the rest. But i assure you it is just as good if not better.
