Wasn't to long ago that we went through this stage lol. Get your pup some bully sticks and some big hooves and every time the pup bites you or your daughter yelp and say NO! Then put the bully stick in the pups mouth and tell him good boy. How ever we ended up having to make out pup bit her own lip every time she bit us and after doing it a few times she totally stopped nibbling on people. You can stick your hand in her mouth and she will not bite down. Our vet told us to do that if the other things did not work. He is most likely biting because he is teething so make sure you have lots of puppy chew toys. There are these bones that you put in water and freeze they are called chilly bones and that was one of her favorite things to chew on in that stage also the bully sticks and pig hooves (you have to make sure you watch him with the pig hooves). We also got form of the nylabones and she liked those a lot. And peanut butter in a kong and put it in the freezer. Hope that helps!!

My new Husky/German Shepherd mix pup does the same thing. I've tried holding his mouth too but it only seems to agitate him and make him do it more. I've found spraying them in the face with a spray bottle filled with water does the trick pretty nicely. He's starting to break his biting habit slowly but surely.

We had a puppy who would always chew on our feet. So what did we do? We got her a chew toy in the shape of a foot. Worked like a charm! My sister trained her. She's not a professional, but this same dog can now sneeze on command (I kid you not). Maybe something like this could help.

well holding his mouth and saying no is actually counterproductive because it leads your puppy to believe that it is a game.

what you do, is every time he bites, make a loud high pitched yelping noise. like, pretend you are another puppy, and he just bit you, and now you are yelping to show him "hey, that hurt, knock it off".

if he was still with his brothers and sisters and his mom and all that, this is how they would have trained him not to bite. the yelp indicates pain and is an unpleasent noise, so he will associate the bite with the yelp, and therefor the yelp with the unpleasentness it causes him.

Proper training and socialization are some of your dog's most basic needs. Learn how to set a basic foundation before you begin to train your dog https://tr.im/am6Cw

At first, dog training can seem pretty overwhelming, especially if this is your first dog. Truth be told, training your dog is a very big project. However, if you take it step by step, you will find the task to be far less daunting.

It is not only Husky that do this, every puppy does. They are not being mean just teathing, give him things to chew on and when he bites people redirect him to something he can chew. Try pigs ears or those cooked bones etc.

everytime that she bites someone put her in a closed area like a bathroom and give her like a time out and when someone new comes sover like a friend have them sit on the couch with a towel over thier legs and then let the dog sniff them.

When my dog was a pup, I bit him back, enough to make it hurt. He doesn't bite so hard anymore. Not recommended for everyone. Spray him with water when that happens, they don't like it, but it doesn't hurt him either.

If its just playful biting, you'll have to expect that kind of thing with a young puppy, its very common.

If you feel its acting overly aggressive, give it a good smack on the head and it will think twice before biting again.
