First time posting. A very short one.?

Music calms the savage beast, or so, it has been said, but

Witty. "Thin a thickened head" :)

William Congreve wrote: "Music has charms to soothe a savage breast," spoken by Almeria in Act I, Scene 1 [of The Mourning Bride (1697)]. (The word "breast" is often misquoted as "beast".) The phrase, and it's permutations, have long passed into cliché, but I've never seen a thickened head thinned. Clever.

Did something inspire this, or were you playing with words?
