what is the temple of God and where does he live?

The temple of God is our soul.

We have to build this temple as at present it does not exist.

The real trick in the question is, that we cannot build the temple on our own, it can only exist in between us, between the individual souls of the united human being.

So until the whole of humanity is not connected this vessel, or temple is broken, and God cannot reside in it, but as soon the temple is completed, the Creator will live in it, in other words within the perfect connections in between us.

Isn't all creation the temple of God and doesn't God live within all? I'm not sure about objects or things but I believe this to be true about living things.

However thought has brought me some inner conflict due to being taught that the temple of God is only the Human Body and God only dwells in the body if you ask God to. This idea falls more along the lines of Salvation and being born again.

I do not think I am "born again" but there are parts of me that struggle to fight against old concepts as I am exploring and learning new ones.

Yes, I think that every living thing is the temple of God and that God dwells within and among all life.

I saw the temple of God at the construction site where I work; luckily I can use the other facilities and can leave his temple for those that follow in his wake.
