She is also on medicaid so I know that there will be a spend down. Which is fine.

My friend is living in her grandmother's home. Her grandmother was in a nursing home (recently died) and medicare is taking the house as payment for services in the nursing home. Is there a way the my friend can purchase the house?

I had knee replacement surgery 2 yrs ago. Got through a bad physical therapist. Then when through blood clots so 6 months later could not exercise. After released when through another physical therapist but still having issues. Tried using a split for 4 months but my body figured out a way to override the split since I could only use it at night. Recently found a very good therapist went from 44 degrees now down to 17 degrees through exercises. Still cannot straighten leg but it is getting better. Looking for ways to further breakup scar tissue so I can get off my cane and walk better. Also getting ready to see surgeon what would be some good questions to ask?

a basement. My parent's basement flooded I took out all of the carpet getting rid of everything that got wet. We have fans running to dry out the place and a dehumidifier running. I then got a blood clot in Sept. Could not exercise until now (kind of) but in Jan I started physical therapy because I can not straighten my knee. Things are getting worst I have a hard time walking with my cane. I had blood test done and may have fluid in my knee. Doctor wants to get some of the fluid and get it tested. Any one have any ideas how to keep fluid from building up again?
