A compatibility question.?

I'm currently using a Mac laptop. I have an external hard drive from my Dell PC. Can I connect the external hard drive to the Mac and access the files?

    didn't I already answer this? Yes you can connect it but no you cant access the files.

    All I can remember dear..is that WE'RE compatible...where's my story?!
