mythbusters? real or frauds?
does anyone else feel that the mythbusters are full of crap? i recently watched a few shows and they are extremely innovative, talented, knowledgeable, and educated individuals. but i still feel that some of the myths that i saw could have had more tests that are appropriate to decide if it is a myth or not. and what really got me aggrevated is that they busted the myth of subwoofers causing enough pressure to break your windows. the fabricated this homemade giant subwoofer and did a few tests with that and decided that you cannot break the glass in your vehicle. well i have beeen a part of the audio competition world for a while and i have had it done in my blazer. i have video proof and have seen it happen many times. so how can they say it is not possible?
specifically for martin, i didnt use staged glass and had my glass shatter. it is very possible and i am 100% sure.

They try to bust the myth in a reasonable way every time, but admittedly, they dont always get it right. You can always post your evidence on their forum and try to get them to re-do the myth.

They are real. They use accurate, scientific approaches and if there is any room for error they either compensate or say it's unknown. There were a few 'unknowns' that I've seen but most of the time they can say it's either true or busted.
I saw the subwoofer one - at the beginning they ran tests to see which was the most powerful and went with that one. Then they used a common car (Mercedes?) to test with.
A lot of effort goes into their work and I don't disagree with them. Glass that can shatter must not have been in top shape to begin with

I have seen a video of Elvis riding a bike in Brighton England, it don't make it real, glass in a car is not you average glass and should be able to with stand sound from any speaker, if you have seen it happen the I would suggest it was staged and set up ether with weaker glass or with glass with small hair line cracks before hand.
Remember health safety state in Europe anyway that all glass on any vehicle must be able to with stand certain limits, tolerances must be met or its illegal.
May be they used sugar glass.
Did you take any pictures did all the glass break ? And you have prevailed where 100s of others have failed, right OK
Send me your video then

Most of the time they get it right, sometimes not. I love the show.. and it seems like they're doing a good job.

Nobody´s perfect. If you saw it happen, it happened. Send a copy of your video to them.
