I suppose you would describe WWII as an argument between a couple of countries, which other countries took sides and joined, killed a lot of people, changed the map.  You can make anything sound absurd by simplifying it.  It's an old debator's trick.  It's also akin to bad journalism when you use loaded terms like "Jewish Zombie", "telepthically tell him..." and "remove a curse".  But hey, whatever makes you feel better about your weak position, by all means...
