No suspension. The 2003 list was just pretty much a survey to see what percent of the players was taking steroids. If it was over a certain amount of players, they were going to add a steroid policy (which is currently in effect). The list was supposed to be anonymous and private. Since steroids was not against the rules in 2003 they cannot get punished. The only reason manny got punished was because he was currently caught this year. Why do you think nothing happened to A-Rod. Steroids was not against the rules in 2003 and they have no proof that Manny or David Ortiz took steroids after 2003.

I don't want to believe this is true, and I really hope it's not, because it sounds fishy to me. "Lawyers with knowledge of the results told The New York Times?" That's too vague. I'm sorry but once this is actually confirmed by someone other than a newspaper in the city of the biggest rivals of the Red Sox, I'll believe it.

Well its no shock that Manny is on the list after he served the suspension, but I was surprised and sad that Big Papi's name is on the list.

  • Vindication in a sad way for Yankee Fans who had to put up with abuse from Yankee haters the last year or 2 for Yankee players being discovered for using roids.

It was only a matter of time before they were busted. I'm not surprised at all. But if I were a Red Sox fan, I know i'd be dissapointed.

  • I'm just waiting on Pujols' name to be dropped.

And for those who think it's biased, this paper is owned by the The New York Times Company, which also owns the Boston Globe, and countless other papers around the nation. So I hardly think it's biased.

Another anonymous hit job by the so-called guardians of the law.

    Lawyers, YUCK.

If the named players cheated, then identify youselves, if not, just shut up, you cowards.
