i was a 100% devoted christian for 20 years. the reason I quit was because I didn't ignore reality.

    The rule of so many of them tends to be "half-understand something, or not understand it at all, make the rest up, and assume that because you’re doing it to promote your religion, it’s OK to lie."

    Of course. That's the whole point.

    Though I should clarify it is primarily the abrahamic religions.
