Why the sudden aggression...?
I have 3 dogs. They had been fine together but the pass few days the 2 younger ones have started fighting with the older one (he's 8 or 9ys old). At first i thought it was over a toy or a treat but i haven't seen any near them. The last fight they got into they were all laying down then the youngest one lunges at the older one for no reason and starts attacking him and the other one jumps up and joins in. I've been having to lock them up when i'm not home since this started. Any ideas why they've started getting aggressive to the other dog?
The older one just has allergies and he's going blind and deaf.
The younger ones are 3yrs and 2 yrs old. And they've always been fine together till recently. I walk them just about everyday and nothing has changed with that its just random fights. Oh and they're all fixed

Social aggression is starting to show when young dogs become older and have to content for a place in the pack hierarchy.
Separate, serious obedience training and asserting yourself as the pack leader will go far toward taking care of the problem.

If he's going blind and deaf then they're changing pack places.
The younger ones are seeing that they can overpower and become higher than the elderly dog.
Make sure that the younger dogs know that YOU are the leader, and the older dog is under YOUR protection.
Dogs will always have this sorts of behaviors, they are dogs and dogs need a pack order.
As long as you are on top, and it doesn't become dangerous, leave them to sort it out.
Do not let it escalate.

Wise to lock them up when you aren't at home. Are the two youngers ones exhibiting some pent up energy? Maybe they are picking on the older one to start playing? The two younger ones may need more exercise.
The older one doesn't have any medical conditions right?

Good you have the vet appointment. The dog needs a complete Senior Wellness Exam. That includes ALL types of bloodwork, fecal etc. Something is WAY off physically.

Sounds like they are fighting over dominance.
If I were you... I would step up my dominance and leadership.
Don't give them too much attention except to demand obidience at all times, walking them, etc. Let the 2 younger dogs know that YOU are the boss and You are the only one that can say who is to fight.
Only other suggestion, would be to hire a behaviorist to observe and give you feedback.

Walk your dog together they have alot of energy that needs to be burned off, if they act up and your their you can correct it before it gets worse

well if they're real young they're probably trying to set their place in the pack by going after the older one.hes old hes an easy target

how old are the other 2, what gender are the dogs and are they fixed.
Separate when feeding, when you arn't home, and exercise them well.
