  • Dachshund back injuries?

I think my dachshund injured his back from being picked up wrong or jumping off the couch. I noticed he had loss of appetite and when I touch his back a bit below his shoulder blades he tenses up (if some one else touches there or his hips he'll whine or yelp). But other then that he is just as active and is moving fine. Normally I'd take him to the vet right away but I'm unemployed now and I no longer have a car. I've had him for 6 years so no way I'm going to give him up just cause I've reached a bump in the road.

    Any helpful tips/suggestions?

Anyone know of a program or something that might help??

  • Why the sudden aggression...?

I have 3 dogs. They had been fine together but the pass few days the 2 younger ones have started fighting with the older one (he's 8 or 9ys old). At first i thought it was over a toy or a treat but i haven't seen any near them. The last fight they got into they were all laying down then the youngest one lunges at the older one for no reason and starts attacking him and the other one jumps up and joins in. I've been having to lock them up when i'm not home since this started. Any ideas why they've started getting aggressive to the other dog?

  • dog/puppy's sudden aggression?

I have a 8 month old miniature Australian shepherd and just this week she started getting very aggressive with dogs around the neighborhood. She is friendly and playful with my other dog but once I take her outside she starts snarling and barking and trying to run at the other dogs. Normally when she saw the other dogs she would say hello and try playing with them. Any ideas about or how to fix this sudden aggression?

  • Dog prices: designer dog and purebred dog?

Why do people find it ok to sell a designer dog for the price of a purebred dog, but think a purebred dog with no papers cant be sold for the regular purebred price?

  • Australian Shepherd eyes...?

I got a Australian shepherd puppy a few months ago and one of her eyes was half brown and blue. Now its more blue. I know right now she sees out of it fine but I was just wondering if she could go blind in that eye?

  • Why do dogs swing around and bump each other with their butt?

when my dogs play I noticed that they'll spin around and bump each other with their butts and run around. I've noticed a couple of other dogs do it too.
