Is Matt Lauer the most useless person on TV?
What is great about him? He couldn't report an unbiased accurate new worthy story if his life depended on it. He is a perfect example of a bleeding heart liberal that in life has yet to pull his head out of the ground and grasp the concept of worthwhile news reporting.

"The Today Show" is aimed at women, and Matt Laurer represents what network execs think most women want: a "sensitive, new-age nice guy." His image suggests that he's intelligent, he bathes everyday, he talks about his feelings, and doesn't spend all his time watching sports. In other words, he's the complete opposite of the crude slobs they're married to.
