Internet connectivity issues?
My computer (2007 HP Pavillion) has recently been having connectivity issues. It will connect to any wireless network, or local area network, but the speed of surfing is embarrassing. It took 10 minutes to load the Comcast.net home page. Even P2P file sharing is limited to about 1.5kbps download. And this is with COMCAST, man. The rest of the devices on my network run at a smooth speed, though.
I've uninstalled any programs I've downloaded, and tried a system restore. I've run virus scans, spyware scans, and file cleaners. I have tried everything I can think of, including messing with internet options and getting programs that tweak it to maximum efficiency. Nothing has worked.
Are there any suggestions how to fix this?
