The testosterone-fueled antler-lock in Cambridge has lasted longer in the media than the health care debates.?

Whatever happened to good reporting? Who pays the media to keep up this trash? Real issues are obfuscated, and we all drool over this tempest in a teapot as if our very lives depended on it. Why are we, as a country, so hung up on trivia? Could it be because our educational system is so bad? Are we that dumbed-down?

Racism and profiling are very real issues, but this Cambridge mess has more to do with frayed nerves and tired travelers, with stuck doors.

It's a simple situation that a lot of people can relate to. And you can form an opinion without reading a thousand pages of legal text. I think that's why it's aroused so much interest.

But you're right that the media and the public have devoted too much time to it.

I like the way you worded the question, by the way. "Testosterone-fueled antler lock" indeed. :)

if you despise the cambridge thing so much, why are you asking a question dealing with the subject? You blame the media but it's YOU who asked the question.

Of course, more fun than the nitty gritty of a health care reform.

Great question. I've been wondering this myself and have even mentioned it in some of my replies.
