what is consciousness ? i have my own theory here.?
consciousness is a balance system to the universe .
it is generated from a point of no dimension in our brain . also it exists everywhere inside every atom .
whenever an atom is produced , it takes a positive value from totality which has zero value[ or we can call it nothing ] . to balance it immediately a negative of that atom takes birth inside it in the form of consciousness which controls the existence of that atom as well as the properties of every type .It is like credit controls the debit in our cash-credit account in bank which starts from zero balance .
however when universe was not formed , no atom was there to exist , hence no consciousness should be there , but it was not so . actually consciousness follows existence. if existence is zero then consciousness is opposite of zero , which is infinity . so at that time consciousness is full from which everything can be taken out as a definite existence which is not infinite . this is a magical thing to understand . I mean this fullness of consciousness is used in making a part -consciousness of everything which is ultimately containing all-ness and individual-ness simultaneously .
for example ,we exists as a physical body as well as a non-physical body[spiritual body ].to understand it ,suppose we want a balloon of 1 meter diameter , which should exist in front of our eyes . we are sitting in a place where no raw material is available for creating a balloon of rubber . we have no atoms which may combine to constitute the molecules which are further responsible for making rubber,... then what will we do ? how will we make balloon of rubber from nothing .
here is the procedure :
first of all we will choose the point from which the whole experiment will be performed . we will think about a balloon with an increasing radius becoming bigger starting from that zero radius . suppose ,now the balloon is starting to be viewed by our eyes . because we created this balloon from nothing in a outward positive direction , we have to create a balloon of negative properties in an inward direction to maintain zero of balance . this anti-balloon cannot be seen by eyes like our soul . the same method is applied to create atoms from nothing, to exist and make rubber . an anti-atom will be created within the boundaries of atom respecting zero . similarly , further constituents of atom [electrons, protons and neutrons etc..] are created in similar method of balance .
now the question arises , who created something for the first time and who told him this method . CONSCIOUSNESS IS THE ANSWER . consciousness created everything by splitting itself into parts which contained the whole of it as many time added as needed . no part is without whole and no whole is without parts .it is a natural phenomenon which is automatically produced to save the truth of falseness of magic [i will edit further details soon if u will like my theory . ]
no boiling frogs this time :i respects ur theory . i liked the lines : "I am God." The Infinite has returned to the original starting point. He now knows, however, with full consciousness and full awareness that he was, is and always will be infinite, with infinite bliss, infinite power and infinite knowledge. And, he realizes that the entire journey has been an illusory dream, the purpose of which was the full awakening of his soul. actually that is all u finished my theory which i wanted to end in similar way .
however i continues the middle part ;
when we ask our self - what we are ? ,from where came from ? then in order to find ourself ,we have to go inward of us and resume fullness by cancelling our physical body with our spiritual body by method of SUNN-SAMADHI [ In PUNJABI language ] .
which means adding two opposite half parts of full consciousness.
[ actually i know only scientific meaning of everything . ]
everything has its own sub-consciousness which is soul
when a person dies due to brain failure , his heart and other parts of body wait for the master soul [the individual soul of that person or consciousness of him] to resume the identity of negative of that physical body . the individual consciousness of every cell [ which belongs to the soul of those ] dies after waiting for some time depending upon the physical requirements like oxygen, blood, etc...,which were dependents of brain [to which the master soul belongs ] . as the physical body is damaged , the soul also changes its size or remains no more original . if we cut our one finger ,then the individual soul of finger will be no longer connected to our master soul and will also be finished as soon as the body of finger receives no more signals from the brain in the form of blood . it means our body parts remains alive for some particular time .that is why we can donate eyes . ..... needs more ?
some of u will think ,that the way i have described to make a balloon from nothing is just an imagination ,but it is true . in order to make this experiment in reality , u have to use full consciousness . i cannot prove but those people who ever reached super-conscious stage ,will agree with me that we can make any event possible by just thinking instantly . i got that stage four times in my life and i enjoyed the universe running according to what i thought at same time . for example i thought the rain to come ,it started raining . many more magical events occurred while that stage . we cannot create anything like god do ,but if we are full conscious ,then there is no difference between god and us ,up to some extent . .... !
now i conclude writing these lines :
full-consciousness is the basic building-block for every soul which is necessary to maintain the balance for cancelling the physical existence of everything . also when nothing exists , only consciousness exists as full ,otherwise for every single pair of electron and proton , consciousness has to exist in parts of it for the sake of balance . fullness is used to create parts . we should find this fullness out of our part-ness because it exists within every cell of our body .
in a mathematical way:
suppose vacumm in space . we create a ballon of 1 meter diameter in it the place ocupied by the balloon will be the physical body of the balloon and the infinite space around it excluding the hole produced by the balloon ,will be the negative of it and will be responsible for balancing zero of space . the space will be no more infinite as something has been taken out from it in the shape of balloon . the balloon can represent itself as space for else .
when anything is created by any method or by anything it asks to itself ; what am i ? even an atom after birth tries to find itself . in order to do so ,the atom does what can be done by it . the need of the atom is to achieve perfection . so the atom starts making bonds with other atoms with which by doing so, the atom gets lower energy level . the lowest energy is zero which is in fact maximum stability for everything . similarly after birth , we do what we can do to achieve peace in which maximum stability of power exists . when we achieve the fullness by forgetting our physical body and all this existed world , we are only left with full consciousness which further can be used for doing anything again in the world returning to the parts again by splitting itself into parts . same way as we collect all of our money for a big task and then use it for that purpose by paying it in many ways .
each of us has some kind of knowledge which is improving day by day . this process of increasing awareness is running from the first atom came into existence for the first time in the universe. when anything becomes fully aware of everything ,then it is the stage of full-consciousness . but in that stage no more meaning of everything remains to understand as everything becomes one with full -consciousness . that is why we say oneness with god or oneness with universe . i can describe but only memories .
this is what the result of super- consciousness :
a solid type brick of salt wants to know about the ocean from where it came , the brick dives into the ocean . now it is in the ocean . soon it gets losing its solidness and is diluted in the ocean. now the physical body of brick is no more . all the ocean is now the physical body of the soul of that brick of salt .
i think it is enough for now. more in next question .

This is what I discovered.
The first phase of God's journey is evolution. It is initiated from a totally unconscious God, as if an infinite Ocean were in a state likened to deep sleep. This unconscious God speaks the First Word "Who am I?” This question disrupts the limitless, undivided, absolute vacuum, and its reverberations create individualized souls, compared to drops or bubbles within the Ocean. By speaking the First Word, God establishes the process of Creation, in which he assumes evolving forms to gain increasing consciousness.
Individuality is the vehicle of this quest. Evolution marks a series of temporary answers to "Who am I?" The soul traverses a multitude of forms, beginning with simple gases and proceeding slowly through inanimate stone and mineral forms. These early evolutionary stages obviously have only the most rudimentary consciousness and cannot provide a satisfactory answer to God's original question.
The original query thus provides a continuing momentum for the drop soul to develop new forms, each with greater consciousness, including the many plant and animal beings. Every evolutionary kingdom reveals new dimensions of consciousness and experience. Each also offers opportunities to gain different kinds of awareness. For example, when the soul identifies itself with varied species of fish, it experiences the world as a creature living in water, conversely, as a bird, it enriches its consciousness by flying through air.
When the drop soul finally evolves to human form, consciousness is fully developed, but an individual is still not aware of the potential of his or her consciousness.
So the original "Who am I?" imperative persists and inaugurates the second phase: reincarnation. Since consciousness is fully developed, there is no longer a need for evolving new forms. The individual's experience, gathered in early stages of evolution, is now humanized and expressed in countless lifetimes. The impulses gained in sub-human forms can play themselves out in the broader context of intelligence, emotions, choices, diverse setting and interactions with people.
But obviously no single lifetime can bear the burden of "humanizing" the entire evolutionary inheritance randomly or simultaneously. There must be a method for re-experiencing the pre-human legacy in manageable segments. The soul thus experiences alternately a series of opposites, organized according to themes. Accordingly, in different lives, the soul becomes male and female, rich and poor, vigorous and weak, beautiful and ugly. Through exploring the potential of these many opposites, one eventually exhausts all possible human identities and, therefore, has fully learned the entire range of human experience.
Here begins the third phase: involution, the process by which the soul returns to the full awareness of the Divine Force, which created him. As Meher Baba puts it, "When the consciousness of the soul is ripe for disentanglement from the gross world (the everyday world of matter and forms), it enters the spiritual path and turns inward."
Like evolution, involution has certain states and stages, consisting of "planes" and "realms." But individuality continues along this spiritual path. In fact, the book, “God Speaks,” quotes the Sufi saying "There are as many ways to God as there are souls...."
Each new plane denotes a state of being that differs from the states that preceded it. The first three planes are within the subtle world or domain of energy, "pran." There follows the fourth plane, the threshold of the mental world, where misuse of great power for personal desire can lead to disintegration of consciousness.
The fifth and sixth planes represent true sainthood, which is understood to be increasing intimacy with God as the Beloved. On the sixth plane, the mind itself becomes the inner eye that sees God everywhere and in everything. "The loving of God and the longing for His union," says Meher Baba "is fully demonstrated in the sixth plane of consciousness."
The seventh plane marks true and lasting freedom. Impressions go. Duality goes. The drops burst and again become the Ocean. God answers his question of "Who am I?" with "I am God." The Infinite has returned to the original starting point. He now knows, however, with full consciousness and full awareness that he was, is and always will be infinite, with infinite bliss, infinite power and infinite knowledge. And, he realizes that the entire journey has been an illusory dream, the purpose of which was the full awakening of his soul.

Pure consciousness of nothing is nothing. Consciousness does not create, but only instigates. You cannot instigate nothing. To equate consciousness with matter and creation is to avoid the question and give no answer. What is consciousness? You cannot answer by saying simply that everything is everything, because you are left with no information.
Consciousness is in part perception, in part imagination, in part belief. Once you become conscious of a thing you can have a purposeful effect on it. Without at least some faint consciousness, there can be no purposeful effect. You must perceive something, imagine something, believe something, and then you have the ability to act based on this consciousness.
The quality of your perception, imagination, and belief system all affect your consciousness. The greater the quality of these things you acheive, the greater is your consciousness.
The ultimate consciousness would perceive all, imagine all, know all and therefore have a perfect system of belief. This would be the supreme consciousness of which no consciousness could be greater.

I was thinking....and according to my religious beliefs...the Consciousness would be the same to what we call an intelligence. An intelligence is not created but is infinite..meaning it has no end or beginning...like a ring...it just is...but we also belief that all elements both spiritual and physical are infinite too. Creation out of Nothing is not something we believe...because all things that are have always existed...it is just what state these elements may happen to be in is the difference. An intelligence or consciousness only has as much power as it has of knowledge of truth....God is the greatest of all and has organized all the treasures to benefit all other intelligences that wants to grow, learn and add to their own knowledge of truth. That is the way I understand so far.

I am guessing by your user name, and by what you say here, that you were raised in a civilization that was more "eastern" than "western". That would account for your first statement: "consciousness is a balance system to the universe .
it is generated from a point of no dimension in our brain . also it exists everywhere inside every atom ."
In the western tradition of consciousness, it is the mind, and only each individual mind, which contains consciousness. The existence of the universe does not have its own consciousness.
This difference in the way we understand "consciousness" may be in what we ascribe (connote) to the purpose of "consciousness". In your connotation, you seem to mean "the force that regulates the natural laws."
But in the west we take the Aristotelian connotation that "consciousness" is the faculty of a living mind that is capable of doing more than reacting, as one atom would "react" to another, the particular reaction being dependent on what the 2nd atom is. For example, put the north poles of 2 magnets together and they repel each other; put one negative pole with one positive pole and they attract.
Consciousness is capable of more than this atomistic reactionary kind of activity. Consciousness is the result of living sensory organs taking information such as sounds or sights to another organ, the brain, where this information wakens the mind, which at birth is "tabula rasa." A baby born with no sensory ability would never gain consciousness. (I don't know if a baby could be born this way, but that is what would happen.)
Your atomistic view of "consciousness" is certainly correct when we say that the nature of an object causes it to acts and react as its particular nature causes it to. An orange left on the ground does not react the same as a rock left on the ground. But to say the orange or the rock is "conscious" of being on the ground, conscious of what it is, conscious of what is happening to it, requires that we who think in the western Greek tradition would have to give up the idea that consciousness is available only to living organisms.
While the atomistic version you present shows that atoms act and react, it does not show that the atoms have any faculty of sense perception that identifies and integrates the material provided by those senses, from which to make willful, purposeful decisions of action.
In the western tradition, consciousness is the cause of willful, purposeful decisions of action (volition), not automatic reactions based on the natures of the atoms that come into contact with each other.

Yep conciousness is the instigator of what we have all around us now, but consider this, in a dimension of nothing but conciousness where it's self aware and is splitting itself, at what point did it loose its individuality and want/need for a material dimension.
Also consider the purpose of existance is to not advance into a more materialistic existance but to go back to being simply conciousness.
If you see conciousness as "God" then it's plan would be a test of self to see exactly what it is that makes it what it is.

Well, I guess it would be about the 'psychic ability' we all have, some just haven't found it yet. That kind of thing. I feel we are all united in the fact that we are all human, yet we are each incredibly individual. No one is exactly the same as you. As for sharing of conciousness, if you know someone extremely well, like a twin, or were seperated at birth or something and practiced telepathy a lot, I guess you could roam between your and their minds at will, making it as if your minds were one. I dunno. I guess I've had too much caffine or something.

I don't know what consciousness is. I am empty, so hollow,.... nothing grows in my being, nothing is green. There are no flowers within me. My spring has not come yet. Please tell me how to come to this consciousness.
