easy question; no car knowledge required?

the stripes on my 1986 nissan 300zx are starting to look pretty ratty (fading, peeling, etc.). my plan of action is to paint them over to make them look nicer. I just wanted to know what color you guys think would look nice.

also what type of paint would you reccommend?

here are pics of the car:

Its is considered a sports car cause of the VG30DE engine and rear wheel drive.

It would look really clean in a midnight blue metallic, medium dark silver, or just a nice pearlescence white.

There are candy paints, but they cost alot but look very good and deep glossy looking.

    Good luck :)

you can buy stripe kits at a automotive parts store painting then would need to be done buy a pro its a hell of alot harder than it looks to paint them trust me you can get diff colors in the kits i would say a midnight blue would really pop out and shine on that silver paint

That's a great car! I use to have one and I miss it. Best car I have ever owned. I have had good results with duplicolor products. They have a great selection of specialty paints.
