Love at first sight?
My daughter, Emilie Elizabeth, was born this morning. I never believed in love at first sight until I saw her.

aren't hospital waiting rooms like prison when your eager to see someone?
i'm really eager to see my wife, but she's sleeping. they said i can see her when she wakes up.
haha well, my wife and i were really good friends for years before we started dating.
and actually, i didn't know how i would feel about my daughter. she wasn't exactly planned...
like i said, i didn't have role model parents.
and eew...how can you twist this into me falling in love with my daughter? besides, it's a different kind of love.
i think they do let the dinosaurs roam free.
no offense to that lady, but uh....
she asked me who won the war.
i was like "war??" and she's like "THEE war!!"
and my father in law, without looking away from his magazine, said "America did" and they old lady got all excited.
i was like "ookkeeeyy, anyways, Scott are you by any chance psychic?"

nope. and yeah - hospital waiting rooms are crap. they have magazines from the year 1863 and the vending machines never work, but you dont want to go home to eat, because you might miss the chance to see whoever you are waiting for -- why dont they jst let the dinosaurs roam free, just to add to the stone-age atmosphere?
i hate hospitals.
oh and congrats. babys are so adorable! pretty name too!

Congratulations!!! She hasn't been here for a day and she already has you wrapped around her little finger. That's how it was with my husband when our daughter was born. Yes, I do believe in love at first sight.
