Yes, it is. Especially if you are serious with your girlfriend. And especially when you get older and get married. You better not be talking to your exes when that happens. There's no reason to if you're happy with the person you're with. Especially if your ex and you are talking and your ex gave you a "huge hug."

Well it sounds like she is the controlling or jealous type so i would just be careful with what you do with other girls in front of her. But i dont see any harm in giving an x gf a hug its not like u guys kissed or made out or anything. What you should do is try talking to her about it and tell her you have no intentions of cheating on her.

did you introduce your girlfriend?... when an ex comes up to you never talk for too long. always hi how are you thats great bye. always introduce the girlfriend FIRST! and let her know thats your girl.. dont just say her name. i know a lot of people dont realize this but they flirt without knowing it. my guy talks to his ex and it bugs me even though i know they are just friends... it really pisses me off .. mostly because my last relationship the guy was always cheating so i'm so paranoid.

It really depends on your current girlfriend if she is pretty care free i dont think it would be a bad thing,but if she is high strong and pertective of you probly shouldnt be that social with your X.... It really depend how u think your girlfriend would react.

no it isnt, my girlfriend used to be the same but after i told her i was getting angery with her flipping over me talking civily with them we talked and now she isnt bothered.
