Good question. A theologian on an educational TV program said of Christianity that Christianity does not promise happiness in this life. Christianity rather promises that there is a better world to come. I believe that we are spiritual beings having a temporary experience as human beings in a material world. According to the theologian I mentioned, the purpose of living out a human life is knowledge of God. That's it. The gift of God is knowledge of God. We have the opportunity to seek truth and to pursue it. We are given choices everyday, almost all day long, in fact. We can choose between a greater good and a lesser good. A greater or a lesser evil. Our choices and particularly our recognition that we are spiritual beings -- not just intelligent animals -- determines whether we advance to a higher state of being. Sounds cool to me. Ultimately, we join with our source -- God.

The greatest gift was Jesus Christ Because if jesus did not die to reconcile us back with god we would all be going to hell.

So, thank the lord he did send his son and we have the chance to repent of our sins and turn our back on sin with the holy spirits help and know we have eternal life secure.

If your not christian, have a think! If you died today and stood in front of god would you go to hell or heaven?

Have you ever told a lie, looked at another woman or man with lust, stolen, used his name in vein just a couple of commandments. The answer is yes you are guilty and me. So if god is just and fair you are guilty and would be sent to hell "full stop".

However, if you pray and ask your sins to be forgiven, for jesus to enter your life and turn your back on sin and receive the holy ghost you are on your way to a far better life on earth and eternal life as a gift.

The question is? if anyone is not Christan is it worth taking the chance? NO it is not.

Gods Son is the ultimate Gift of God.

There are many gifts but I would say that Jesus and God himself are the two best gifts.

We can pray for guidance and help in hard situations and ask for him to heal people who are in need.

Grace, Love, forgiveness and a chance for life eternal.

Love God and learn what He wants from you, that's how it works in our lives.

Hsa 6:6 For I desired love, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.

God has given us so many gifts that we do not deserve. God has given us his one and only son for one and without him we wouldnt have the chance to go in heaven with our lord. he gives us the air we breath, every single breath god has given us. he gives us all of our food and water and everything else we own. everything we have god has given to us.
