My 16 month daughter starts her first day of child care tomorrow.?
I thought that I was OK about this, but clearly I'm not- I feel like crap.
I am returning to work for two days a week- essentially for financial reasons.
The day care centre is Rudolf Steiner based, and everyone is lovely- my daughter has enjoyed attending playgroup and two half days with me, so I'm not worried about the care she will receive.
Is it normal to feel this bad- I'm crying, can't sleep and feel like vomiting, and I'm not usually prone to melodramatics?
Has anyone returned to work only to realise that they made a mistake?

I am in the same situation. I also had to return to work for financial reasons, my son starts school in september and when i bought his uniform i had to go home and cry, my daughter will be starting Montessori soon and this also upsets me, but it has to be done. Children grow from their experiences, we cant mother them for ever. If you are really that upset you should speak to a Doctor.
Best of luck.
