Ebay are overcharging their customers insertion fee and final value fee.?

I sold an item on ebay but this is the last time i will use it.

They give you discount on listing fee but what you don't notice is once your item sells, you are being charged an enormous fee for selling it, which they called final value fee. this is absolutely a rip off, I know their popularity will decrease once others are aware of it in the near future.

Yes I agree. I have been a powerseller on ebay since 2002

And the fees are getting out of control

I hate selling on there because in some cases I actually lose money by selling an item! Did you know ebay wants to make it so the only way people can pay is paypal? And guess what? Paypal charges a fee as well!!! Crazy. I also hate how sellers can't leave a negative feedback for buyers but, buyers can leave us a negative. I have complained to them (when you are a power seller they give you a private toll free number for questions/complaints) No one there really seemed to listen. Ebay is too much about the buyers being protected and not the sellers But, they forget the sellers are what makes ebay ebay

This seems very unlikely. There has always been a final value fee. It's mentioned on the page when you put your sale item in, so if you had read that, you would have known. And ebay is the best place to sell, as so many people use it. Sure, there are other auction sites, but you might not sell at all on those, as there are hardly any customers.

I think they have gotten very greedy, especially when they screw you again making you use PayPal. There is a new one I an trying out - it is www.buysellswapstuff.com. free listings for 90 days. Use the code free11alive and get a year free listings.
