AZ Congressman Raul Grijalva was quoted as saying the new AZ immigration law is "racist". When did being a criminal or being an illegal immigrant become a RACE????? This race card has grown all out of proportion. Maybe he just does not know ENGLISH well enough to realize the stupidity of his statement?

The 9.6 figures just released are only the people currently on Unemployment. The Feds need to contact everyone who was on UI last year and see how many are still out of work - that is the almost true figure since there are still a large group that did not get approved for UI - it must be over 20% judging by the people needing work on Yahoo Answers.

At least twice a day when I hit "Submit" on an answer, the "Yahoo is temporarily unavailable" page comes up and it gets so frustrating! It takes quite some time to get it back, too.

These annoying ads are posted by several names (using only a list of initials) for every answer and as questions as well. I report them as abuse every time I see one, but why can't Yahoo stop these all together? Can't there be a filter for this spam?

It was costing me $10 every time I shocked my (35,000 gallons) pool. Now I do it for $1.50. Common laundry bleach will do the same - 1 qt per 6,000 gallons. A 3 qt bottle of store brand is $1.49. I e-mailed Clorox to be sure and this is the info they gave me ( although I use something cheaper, it is exactly the same stuff)

So many resent the wealthy and want them to pay much more in taxes. The wealthy are the ones who create jobs for the majority of people. Without them, no one would have a job. If you penalize them with higher taxes, you will merely encourage people to not try to better themselves and create a company to hire more people. It is stupid thinking on the lower income population. That mentality is what keeps the poor from getting out of poverty.
