Why do so many people resent the wealthy?
So many resent the wealthy and want them to pay much more in taxes. The wealthy are the ones who create jobs for the majority of people. Without them, no one would have a job. If you penalize them with higher taxes, you will merely encourage people to not try to better themselves and create a company to hire more people. It is stupid thinking on the lower income population. That mentality is what keeps the poor from getting out of poverty.
No, I am not wealthy - I am actually below poverty level. The reason the wealthy are not helping now is they will be taxed even more for helping, so why should they? Also, Americas wealthiest have many who never went to college - they too, were poor growing up. The reason we cannot give free college and health care - we spend too much supporting the able-bodied who are fully capable of working, but have found how to work the system and have the government support them. The majority of unwed moms do not get married because they lose all the benefits they get for having out of wedlock kids - but they still live with the fathers and lie about it. I could go on, but I am to disgusted with the handouts to the un-derserving to continue.

Believe it or not, wealthy people do not have it easy. The difference is that their problem is really much more complicated than common people.
The wealthy people are very industrious, very aggressive in life, very hard working, very ambitious people and always aiming high.
They are always wanting to learn and learn more and upgrade themselves so that they are not stagnant. The reason why it looks easy for them is because they wear nice clothes, eat in a restaurant that only wealthy people go so to avoid trouble with trouble makers
mostly are gangsters and drug dealers. They pick who they associates mostly higher educated people in their levels for a very very good reason (not to show-off). They always think business deal that will enhance their on-going careers. People in a lower category (poor) are less on-lookers and less observant, befriending wrong crowd and spending most of their time watching TV, shopping at Wal-mart, or talking on the cell phone, watching movies at theather that this reach people produced, poor people are where the rich people (mostly actors nd actresses) get their living but they work hard first to film, then their clientele are the poor people.
One thing is that they (rich people) are not lazy people.

First Issue - People resenting the wealthy... many people believe that in order to get wealthy you must be dishonest and cheat. I think that's why a lot of people resent the wealthy. The fact is, some people get wealthy via hard work and being of service to others and yes, some are cheats.
As for taxes, the wealthy currently pay a much lower percentage of their income to taxes than the middle and lower classes. Wanting them to pay their fair share as a percentage of their income is just fair. They will still invest, create jobs, etc. By the way, it's not the wealthy the start businesses, most entrepreneurs are middle class and they could use the tax break so they can create those jobs.

Yes but as the saying goes, "the rich keep getting richer and the poor keep getting poorer" because the wealthy politicians tend to take care of the higher class and not the middle class. As has been said so much lately, "people on Wall St are getting bailed out but people on Main St are getting evicted". I think it's a low blow to those of us in the middle class (myself included) who have suffered greatly as a result of this current economic crisis because we relied on the hard labor jobs. Most of us had parents who couldn't afford to send us to good colleges or send us to college at all so we didn't get the degrees the wealthy kids were able to get. So while those kids became CEO's and VP's, the middle class kids were working in construction or hospitality, both industries which took a massive hit over the economic fall out. We've struggled and worked hard. Only to end up laid off and not able to collect a decent unemployment check yet the jerks from these banks who got us into this mess were awarding themselves multi million dollar bonuses before asking for the middle classes hard earned tax money to bail them out to avoid financial ruin. It's BS. The CEO's of these banks who caused this mess are jetsetting to Bermuda on the weekends while those of us who can't even find work are just trying to get by and hopefully make rent.
Yes, part of it may be jealousy but the bigger picture here is why can't this country, the freest nation in the world, send everyone to college for free? Provide post high school education to all without offering them high interest federal loans which they will spend 40 years paying back. Why can't everyone be offered health care? Why are these luxuries limited to those with big bank accounts?
And if the wealthy are the ones who create jobs, let me ask you this...
WHERE THE HELL ARE THEY NOW?!
I have often said that the way out of this recession is in the hands of the wealthy. We talk about handing out stimulous checks so that people can go spend money and rejeuvenate the markets. Well those checks only went so far and it doesn't look as though it made much of a difference. So there's where the answer sits. If the wealthy have the money, they should be out there spending it. In America. Not on Italian Lambos but on American Chryslers. Not on vacations to Paris but on tips to Hawaii. They need to spend their hard earned Wall Street paychecks on Main Street. So if you claim the wealthy are the ones who open businesses and create a job market, why haven't they stepped forward to fund the construction projects that have been halted due to lack of funding? Where are the wealthy now?
Sorry but I just can't give them the kind of credit you do. My opinion is you must be wealthy because a middle class person would never have asked this question. If only the rich could walk in our shoes for one month. Maybe then some of their ignorance would dissolve.

Have a go at gÓ©nөгаtÑng your money from YOU TUBE in the same way as I do. Anybody with a job has the ability to do it to add to their wages, or you can even do it as a sole occupation instead of a normal vocation. Take a look at http://rineds.symphonictiger.net/ for a risk fгөө trial.
