I have very high anxiety as well. I am on Zoloft at night to help my anxieties about not falling asleep. Although there isn't really much other than medicine that will so called "fix" it but I can give you some tips on how to handle it when you start feeling that way. One is a breathing tecnique. When you start feeling that way take a deep breath in through your nose and let it out slowly through your mouth. Do this a couple times then breath normal. It wil help the the shakes and with the sick feeling. You can also find something that comforts you. For me it is writing, when I feel that way I start to write, about anything and everything. It really helps take my mind off of the anxieties. The low energy is because your body is tired from working so hard. Taking a nice warm bath will help you relax as well. I took a yoga class and that helped me too. Its all about mind control. And believe me I know how hard it is to do. I have been dealing with it for about 10 years. Its really tough but it is something that you can push through. Stay on your medication and possibly talk to your doctor if it doesn't seem to be making any difference. The best thing that you can do when you are feeling anxious is to find things that comfort you, such as a bath, or exciersising, or something that you really enjoy. I hope this helps you a little and remember that others are going through it too so you are not alone. Good luck

    1. Exercise. it helps your body and mind on numerous levels to relax and to manage stress (anxiety) more effectively. You're 15, so you can build up quickly to some pretty hard-core exercise progams and really get a benefit from this.

    2. Eat/drink right. Lay off the junk food, the sugary stuff and the caffinated stuff. Drink more water. This is the most obvious and most ignored step you can take.

    3. Learn some relaxation techniques like "progressive muscle relaxation" or some sort of meditation technique, maybe something like Tai Chi or yoga. It'll slow your heart rate and thinking down, increase body awareness and teach you to have more control over your symptoms.

    4. Look at possible lifestyle changes. Do you have too much on your plate? Are you in an unhealthy relationship you can exit? Are you in the wrong job, or playing the wrong sport for you? Do your activities mess up having a normal sleep & eating schedule?

    5. When all else fails, get some counseling and consider taking anti-anxiety medications.

Source(s): Been there, done that...heck, there now, doing that. But it's working.

When I get really really anxious for some unknown reason, I will take many deep breaths, or do something peaceful. Most of the time, however, these types of things only cover up the anxiety for a little while. The only thing that works to completely get rid of it, is to completely search your brain for all the things that are causing anxiety and work toward fixing them. You will feel more in control, and you won't have to worry about not remembering something important. Writing down a list will help you keep track, so your anxiety causes can't go back into "hiding" and do anymore damage. Good Luck!

oooh dont take medicine. what you have cannot be cured by medicine. go see a therapist to work through your problems. the reason you get these attacks is because your stressed out about something going on in your life. you need to get to the bottom of whats stressing you out. when you figure that out then you will feel a lot better. dont go to the doctor. they will give you all kinds of drugs that wont make a difference. you should see a therapist and work it out. if you dont want to tell your parents that you wnat to see a therapist then get a very good friend that wont judge you. they can listen to you.

p.s. have you ever read "the boyfriend list" or "the boy book"?

theyre about a girl with panic attacks. you might enjoy reading it!!!!

Try drawing, if you have the time. It doesn't have to be fancy, just make drawings of things that you have in your house or draw from photo's. I find that looking intensely at things, trying to see the different lines, their positions and proportions and getting that on paper, can be very relaxing. Don't worry about any mistakes you make, just continue drawing. Remember that you're drawing to relax, if your drawing ends up looking great, that's just a nice bonus :)
