If a son and a girl he brought home went up to his room alone?

Would you tell them to come downstairs? I went to the beach with a girl today, someone I have known since she was 6 and I was 8, she's 14 now and I'm 16 and my Mom made us come downstairs, which is fine, I understood her concern, but couldn't she have a little more trust in both of us?

Update:

Lol, we had the laptop, our intentions were to go over her facebook page and talk to people, things could have changed, probably would have, but neither of us would have wanted to have sex..yet at least.

Update 2:

I have wireless, for both laptops lol. We weren't going to have sex, and I guess you're right, it doesn't mean she doesn't trust me.

Billy your Mother did the right thing. Your bedroom is no place to go with a girl. Common sense should tell you that. Your Mother didn't say she didn't trust you, but why permit you to be in a place of temptation. You need to get your mind on your future & exercise your body, get into sports & be one with some values. Everybody may seem to be talking about it but believe me, everybody isn't doing it. Some teens could be, but they are putting their energies elsewhere.--- One bad decision can ruin your future. I thing leads to another & the road you choose is after all up to you. I'm talking about all choices. Think long & hard. It's your life. Please don't screw it up.

The rules in or home were always clear, so there wouldn't be a confrontation in front of a friend. "No friends of opposite gender allowed in bedrooms..period."

You need wireless for your laptop, so it can go anywhere!
