How can Paramore be thought of as the best band ever?

I don't know where people come to that conclusion either, LOL. Paramore girl is a knock of so many other female rock singers before her. Have they never heard of Chrissie Hynde, Shirley Manson, Courtney Love, Patricia Day, Debbie Harry -- hell, even Karen O, for that matter! I think anyone that says Paramore is the "best band ever" doesn't have a very wide knowledge of females in music, which is a shame.

I knew about Paramore since they first started out, so I've grown to have tolerance for them, but they are definitely not the best band ever.

I actually have to go with your two! I love the Distillers and Horropops.

Because the person claiming this is probably a 15 year old female who has seen twilight and thinks they are an 'individual'.

I wouldn't say they are the best out of all the bands out there but they are one of the best. Their sound is unique and they have achieved so much. It just sucks when people only pick this band because they might have heard one of their singles on the radio or like them just because of Hayley. That's just ridiculous. Yes, they are very talented, but not the best.
