Has the republican party lost power forever due to young and minority voters?

I was reading several interesting articles about how democrats will control the congress and white house forever.

By studying voter demographics, they analyze the number of young mtv generation who have reached voting age.

They also state that minorities, who generally vote democrat, are 37% of the population and will be 42% of the population in 10 years and 48% of the population in 20 years.

Basically, in 20 years over 65% of voters will be democrat.

Haven't we seen this in the last two elections where republicans lost 55 congress seats or 20% of their members?

Your information is flawed and came right out of James Carville's new book which has already been discredited by factcheck.org. I see no sources listed either.

Here is a story from the daily mail with the true numbers. Blacks turned out like never before, a record 13% of the ones legally able to vote showed up in 2008. It was enough to sweep him into the white house because Obama won white women and Hispanics to. He got over 50% of white women and over 60% of the Hispanic vote. McCain did a poor job with old people because Bush's failed privatization of Social Security and only managed to win 51% of the over 65 vote. GOP takes 80% in most elections. Youth had record turnout, a whopping 17% of people under 25 able to vote did so.

You better look up the mini baby boom going on now to. It's not African American or Hispanics leading the way. Hispanics had 25% African Americans 21% and All other non Whites 4%. White People have a longer life span to. Felons in most states are stripped of the right to vote in some cases forever.Do you know how many minorities are jailed for felonies or on parole? The Black man is at 41%, Hispanic 15% and White less than 10. Felons can't vote so it doesn't matter what party they belong to. For Women: Black 32%, Hispanic 9%, White 8%. But I know "Danny is racist for using statistics and the police are racist for arresting Black men and taking away our base's voting rights."

Reality is 2010 if the GOP smartens up and leaves Social Security alone so thier older base comes back watch them take back the house. If they bring on the wedge issue of abortion watch them win 55-70% of the Hispanic vote like Bush did. Obam wasn't running against McCain, he was running against Bush's falied adminstration. No one could have won on the GOP in 2008. Bush Approval rating was in the mid 20s when he left office, half of the Republicans hated thier own guy at the end. In 2010 and beyond you guys can't run against Bush, you got to defend Obama and the spending policies of your party. Do a little work and see how American's like Obamanomics in polls.

The Dems and the Reps are the same pig with different colors.

If you had any balls, and brains, you'd all vote Libertarian.

Plus, let's face it, Obama's ruined the Democratic brand in a way that I thought could never be done as well as Bush screwed the Republicans. Obama's a master of prevarication.

Smart people are finally seeing how stupid they were for voting for this snake oil salesman.

A better question would be why republicans care about being in power, when Liberal Democrats have the same goals as Liberal Republicans, and seem to be far more successful at achieving them rapidly.

McCain promised Health Care Reform, too.

2010 is probably our last chance to assert the Constitution.

The republicans had a chance in 1994 to stop the spread of this insanity by doing away with the department of education. But they chickened out when the dumocrats called them against education. Which was absurd. They just wanted schools to be run locally. Closer to the parents. But daddy government could not have that.

i think of youthful electorate of immediately have been conditioned over the direction of their lives to think of a definite way. they have been bombarded all their existence with liberal political correctness. In different words, they have been informed what to think of, what to settle for, and the thank you to stay. while they're thoroughly on their very own and faraway from computing gadget lies, they comprehend that their opinion counts. some will snap out of the computing gadget strategies administration and grow to be greater conscious of what the authentic international is all approximately. this is while they flow to the solid side.

Young Democrats eventually grow brains and turn Republican. Minorities will vote Democrat regardless because they still believe in handouts.

If you pat yourself on the back any harder, you'll knock all your fillings out. If you were old enough to have seen this happen over and over like I have, you'd know that this is all a part of the political cycle.
