Which of the Big 5 has the better resume?

1. Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao (49-3-2)

Notable Wins: Lehlohonolo Ledwaba: Marco Antonio Barrera (Twice) : Eric Morales (Twice) Juan Manuel Marquez (W/D) : Oscar De La Hoya : Ricky Hatton :

2. Juan Manuel "Dinamita" Marquez (50-4-1)

Notable Wins: Manuel Medina : Manny Pacquiao (D) : Jimrex Jaca : Marco Antonio Barrera : Rocky Juarez : Joel Casamayor : Juan Diaz :

3. Floyd "Money" Mayweather (39-0)

Notable Wins: Diego Corrales : Jesus Chavez : Jose Luis Castillo : Arturo Gatti : Zab Judah : Oscar De La Hoya : Ricky Hatton :

4. Miguel Angel Cotto (34-1)

Notable Wins: DeMarcus Corley : Paulie Malignaggi : Carlos Quintana : Zab Judah : Shane Mosley : Joshua Clottey :

5. "Sugar" Shane Mosley (46-5)

Notable Wins: Phillip Holiday : Oscar De La Hoya (Twice) : Fernando Vargas (Twice) : Luis Collazo : Ricardo Mayorga : Antonio Margarito :

Update:

@ Sean G: Being undefeated doesn't have anything to do with this, if it does, Chavez Jr. would surely be in this list of mine. I think those 3 Losses and the hard fought fights with Marquez is what made him to the fighter he is today. W/L Ratios don't matter. Questionable victories? Castillo was robbed in their 1st match, it was obvious that Mayweather got his first lost. I was impressed with the rematch though. De La Hoya fight was real close, and when DLH asked for a rematch, Floyd chose Hatton, who he challenged to 1 weight class up, while Manny fought Hatton in a weight class he was undefeated at. But who can blame as both with our opinions? We are both fans of our chosen fighters lol.

@ Matthew: Whats with all this "catchweight" nonsense? Are you talking about Manny, Marquez, or Floyd? All are supposedly are fighting at catchweights this fall?

Update 2:

But I completely agree with what you said about Mosley, Matthew.

Floyd by far has the better resume. He is the only one undefeated.

    1. I dont even know who Ledwaba is. Morales and Barrera were battle worn from their trilogy against each other. Marquez got a draw on Pacquiao (and in theory you can say he out boxed him because he got this draw despite being dropped 3 times). De L:a Hoya was dehydrated and a year ana a help older than when he fought Floyd.

    2. Marquez has a good resume but 4 losses look bad.

    3. I notice when you mentioned notible victories...you mentioned Corley for Cotto, but not Mayweather, when Mayweather beat Corley with an injured hand. I also think Floyd deserves credit for his victory over Baldomir who hadnt loss in 12 bouts before Floyd...he was the undsiputed welterweight champ after beating Judah and he was far bigger than Floyd...and Floyd beat him without his trainer (Roger was banned for his part in the Judah melee).

    4. I'm not impressed by Cotto beating Quitana or Malignaggi...Floyd would destroy both. I personally dont think he beat Clottey.

    5. He has beaten some impressive foes but 5 losses are the most of the group and Forrest owned him twice.

So, in summary, Floyd not only has had the better competition but he has beaten them all. If you consider questionable victories...Manny Pacquiao had a draw first with Marquez...he won the rematch but it was a split decision...not decisive. Mosley's win over De La Hoya was questioned...he fought him again and won another close decision that some thing steroids might have affected the outcome. Shane could not avenge his losses to Forrest or Wright in rematches. Floyd had a close fight with champion Castillo...gave him a rematch and made it an unquestionable victory. Marquez had a draw with Pacqquiao and lost the rematch. Cotto has avoided a Mosley rematch and took the Pacquiao fight instead of answering question against Clottey (but considering the money can any of us blame him).

Gotta be Pacman. Has wins over 3 of Mexico's monsters. Destroyed De La Hoya in a way that he was never destroyed. And put Ricky Hatton into submission.

I say that Mosley has the second best resume, beating a prime De La Hoya twice, and beating Margarito when the odds are 4-1.

    Then Mayweather.

    Then Marquez.

    Then Cotto.

Between Marquez and Mayweather, Pacq build his resume off of guys who Floyd already beaten, Marquez defeated young prospects in Juarez and Diaz, it's not that he beat Juarez and Diaz when he wasn't suppose to, it's HOW he beat them, he completely out classed Juarez, and he knocked Diaz out.Knocking out Joel Casamayor just makes his Resume that much sweeter, these are high level guys he knocked out, not C- fighters in the A class spotlight, there was no "catch weight" in these fights neither,

Mosley also has a good record, not just for his notable wins, but also for his Notable losses,He lost against 2 naturally bigger guys,Wright and Forrest,Especially wright,he went up to light middleweight to fight Winky Wright, Twice, a guy who started his career as a lightweight,he fought Winky at Winky's comfort zone, no "catch weight" BS, he also beat other fighters at light middleweight, like Vargas and Mayorga, True P4P fighter foreal,no catchweight nonsense with him.

initially, bypass away off your D.O.B. A casting director does not care how previous you're, lots as how previous you look. upload your vocal variety to this field, put in a format that shows what notes you could reliably sing (case in point, my vocal variety is indexed as F2-G4). 2nd, do no longer hassle itemizing type skits. A casting director won't care how nicely you probably did in that. third, format the church performs and college performs so as that each and each guy or woman overall performance has its own line, as such: production a function A production B function B production C function C that's going to be lots much less complicated to envision this type, and look much less amateurish. Fourth, take making a song, dancing, and writing off the particular skills. in case you have truthfully education in the two of those fields, record that below "education." otherwise, your making a song and dance skill would be desperate in an audition. Your writing skill has no longer something to do with your performing skill. in case you contain the piano, flute and recorder, ensure you contain what style of educating you have had with them. i'm guessing the recorder is merely something you discovered for a 300 and sixty 5 days alongside with genuinely everyone else on your grade in effortless college nonetheless, like maximum little ones did, and if it is so i does no longer hassle alongside with it. And record it as "particular skills," no longer "particular skills and skills." 5th, the "activities & pastimes" section can particularly lots be taken off completely. a professional resume isn't a place record issues like this. If for some reason a casting director needs to nicely known approximately your pastimes they are going to ask you, in spite of the incontrovertible fact that that's impossible which will ever take place; your own pastimes relatively have no longer something to do with casting a function. in spite of the incontrovertible fact that, it can be a robust theory to record the step team artwork on your particular skills section.

As of right now I think Floyd Mayweather has the better resume however if Manny Pacqauio beats Miguel Cotto then I would have to give him the edge.

maybe a slight edge for Pacquiao since he has a win over Marquez. out of the other 3, i'd go with Mosley over Cotto, even though he lost a close decision to him, and Cotto over Mayweather, since he does have a win over Mosley, while Mayweather has been picking and choosing his opponens the last 6 or 7 years. but overall, PacMan.
