there are 6 bolts on each side of the intake the two in the middle of both sides are set at a different angle from the rest of the bolts,i'm having a hard time installing them the engine was once tpi but not i'm going to a carb system,do i need a new intake?

i have been working on my calves for yrs. with no positive results they seem to stay the same ..help!

did you have a hard time installing headers?

rear wheels how wide can i go with out tubbing? will a distributor that peaks 65000 be good enough for my 305.

has anyone out there tried to install 18x10 in the rear of your el camino? tell me about your 305.

i got the carb from a friend he says it's been sitting for about a year and may need to be rebiult. my question is " can it be easily rebuilt by the average joe or do i need to take it to a shop? does the rebuild consist of buying the kit,taking the carb apart,then replacing the parts then re-assemble?

i'm putting it on my 1979 el camino/305. or do i need to just go with the electric?

can i install my headers on the engine before put in the car without having problems? i may use shorties but if i use headers that are a little longer will i have problems.one more question what is that part thats on the front,right side of the intake manifold that is connected to the a/c? it looks like some kind of vacuum but it has a hose.

which will work best? i'm building a crusier should i go with an edelbrock 600 or the edelbrock 500? i don't need much hp just a smooth ride witth good gas milelage. one more thing wht's the difference between the edelbrock 600 1405 1406?

i want to build this 305 up into a nice cruiser engine.it runs fine i want to change all gaskets,clean heads,600 cfm edelbrock carb and a few more small things but i don't want to fix what's not broken either. can i build this 305 to be a nice engine is it worth it? please not silly answers,i don't want to build a 350 just the 305 i have now + i'm on a budget.

i just got the el camino and as i checked it over i noticed the tranny only had two bolts holding it into place, mind you the car has been sitting for about 6 months. someone took the distributor and other odds and ends. i removed the tranny it wasn't even connected to the fly wheel, what do you thing should i use it or get another one? by the way it's a 350.

i have a 1 inch crack in my aluminum wheel,the crack is about thin as a finger nail will jb weld help me?

i have heard that i can install a vette suspension to my camaro is this true? if so rate the difficulty,is it worth it and how long should it take?

i just got this camaro for 200.00! it has t-tops and a real good body,2 inch cowl hood,that's the good,the bad: the car is empty,nothing not even the gas or brake pedal,no gas tank,no dash and no seats,now the ugly: mo'money,mo'money and mo'money. the car was a standard,when i put in the center consel and pedals for the automatic will i have trouble? have much tell me the good,bad and ugly if i installed a 305 engine and tranny combo from a iroc-z? please don't ask about a 350 that's not what i want,your help is appreciated.

my montero will start fine for a few days then it quits,the starter is new,the alternater is not draining anything,but when i jump the battery it started right up! as i said it does this about once a week after i drive it for long distances,do i need a new battery?

it was clicking and would not start so i put another battery in it,it clicked again but started, but would not start again just click,click.if it's the cyliniod is it on the starter or on the inner fender?
