Well, I felt the same way on my birthday, which was last month. I turned 16, and to many people's surprise, my birthday is on the Fourth of July, which usually has made me happy in the past. If you are a girl, maybe your "time of the month" (sorry to be crude) is near, like it was for me. If this is not the case or if you are a male, then maybe it is because you are simply getting older. Depending on what you do on your birthday may cause you to be excited or not. Or, if anything has happened in your personal life recently, maybe that is the cause, especially if you are trying to suppress it. Don't worry too much into this; you are not the only one that has or ever will feel this way. :)

Rana...guess what? you're like so many other people who have high expectations on their birthday only to feel sad...we think that something big will happen or we're entitled to have a problem free day or we think others should be responsible for making our day special and if they let us down we feel "not happy"...it's just another day, but it's your special day...feel blessed if you're healthy, you have a home, and you have people to love...Happy Birthday

It's just a birthday. It's not a guarantee of happiness. You've been watching too many movies with happy endings.
