Iam planning to buy a home? is this a good deal?
Hi,
I was planning to buy a home this year. I have found a new construction home in cumming, GA and its nearer to the highway. It fairly far from my work location but the buyer is offering me a price which has made me think.
The house is a Single family home in a swim and tennis community and its prices around 240's.
Do you think its a good price to buy in that area? will it appreciate?

buy it if its a safe community and if it well worth the price on if the house is big or small and i also suggest www.foreclosurerepos.com on houses that have been on calateral and other thing the people weren't paying and it cheaper and the house payment are worth the price

This is a buyers market.
Look for home closer to work.
Is your job stable? Why waste time commuting, and living near highway?
Living in a community means there are all kinds of rules on what you can and cannot do with your home, including paint colors--can you live with that? You get the amenities of swim and tennis, but you pay monthly assessment, which is likely to rise over time. Many find community living exactly what they want, are you one of those?

depends on what other homes are selling for in the area. you will have to have an appraisal done ( unless you are paying cash) and you will see if it is a good deal or not. chances are if it is a new construction it is priced right, because normally they only profit about 10-20 thousand off a new construction.

You really gave ZERO details about the house itself so there is ZERO way to know if the price is good. As far as appreciation, as long as your are willing to hold onto it for at least 10 years, it should appreciate. Historical appreciation, minus the past 7 years of stupidity, is about 3-4% annually.

Go to www.realtor.com and see if there are other houses for sale in the area. Compare their asking prices with what the seller told you he would sell for. Just remember that realtor.com only shows how much the asking price is, not what a house sells for.

If you want all that, you would definetely want to buy an HP Laptop. All of HP's new laptops are high def with a great graphics card. It is super fast (2.00GHZ+) and HP also provides great online support.

a good deal is only a good deal if you think it is. How much are the HOA fees a month? you need to think about that as well
