If you are a restaurant owner, what do you do during Ramadan?
I ask because I really like middle east food and most, if not all, the middle east establishments are Muslim owned. What the cook, if he is Muslim, does not to break fast? Or do Muslim restaurant simply close during daytime during the Ramadan duration?

Muslim owned and managed franchise Halaal restaurant and take-aways remain open during the month of Ramadhan, cooking and catering for the non-Muslim customers and for Muslims who wish to make Iftaar (break fast) and later in the evening enjoy family get together dinning with a variety of excellent menus offered.
Cooks in Halaal restaurants and take-aways are Muslim and the month long Ramadhan fast is obligatory on them.

►if i was an owner i would probably close and open at sunset
►cook do not need to taste the food, most of muslims actually prepare there food before braking their fast, they just do not taste it
►well it depend on the location not on if the owner is muslim or not, were i live there is christians, muslims owners...so during ramadan the majority tend to open late or at sunset cz simply alot are fasting, but some do open normally for those who aren't.

In Dearborn, MI they remain open, in the middle east I suppose they most likely close. Also, during ramadan, here some restaurants stay open super late (like 5 am).

i'm an atheist, married to a Muslim, and with Muslim young ones. My husband and the two older young ones are fasting. I attempt to no longer consume in front of them, and help to coach iftar (the meal with which they ruin their fasts). i think of this is sturdy for them. It takes particularly some self-discipline, and that all of them shed extra pounds, in keeping with annum, throughout Ramadan. they have some extra weight to lose, they are no longer commencing out overly skinny from the commencing up, and is in basic terms no longer while this is over. i might evaluate fasting, too, yet i will't because of the fact i'm diabetic and in basic terms can no longer bypass 14 hours without ingesting. Islam forbids fasting for individuals whom could be adversely plagued through it (sick, diabetic, and so on.).

Cook but don't eat. My mom cooks food but she can resist the temptation. I sadly can't. Once we were making Banana Chat and i put a piece of banana in my mouth without even thinking about what i was doing lol.

They;d cook but not eat the food...(but the customers eat it)-obviously theyre not Muslim or theyre not fasting.
Most of us cook one night before Eid and we dont break our fast :)
