If you are talking about the United States, we are a Republic. So what is Pure Democracy in your terms? by the way Republic is in the dictionary. Then look up and study the constiutional issues that formed it. If you think thats Mob rule, then so be it.

In democracy, issues are decided by a vote. In mob rule, they're decided by the group with the most Molotov cocktails.

    There is none.

If 51% of the population want to kill the other 49%, then those 49% lose.

Another analogy is, democracy is two wolves and a sheep deciding whats for dinner. A republic is almost the same, but, the sheep has a gun.
