Help With the sims 3?
when i make a new family and move them in to a house. the screen gets dark and then goes light again and back to dark and then it freezes and shuts off. how do you fix this. ?

Sounds like your computer is too weak to run the game.
Did you try the test at: http://www.canyourunit.com/ ?

Probably your graphics card, try updating it, Post some computer specs and what graphic card you have, then I might be able to help you a bit more.
Unitll then try minimizing all your graphic options in the menu

I suggest at the beginning of starting the game, you lower all youre graphics under options.

I do not know, but I do know somebody who can help. You can call the help-line on the back of the game manual and they are experts in the field and can help you directly, they have helped me beofre and they are very nice. Hope this helps!

I haven't had that happen. If your computer supports the game then the easist thing to try first is uninstall and reinstall.
