help with a guitar problem?
i just got a guitar it was used and wont send a signal to my amp or tuner. the chord is fine and the amp is fine theres no loose wires or anything ive checked ive also tightened to bolt but nothing seems to work
its used form like a hock shop and i dont have enough money for any others

it could be a number of problems. The cord could have a short, but if you say the cord is fine, then it might be a short in the input jack. it usually cost about 10-15 bucks to have it rewired. that happened to my Gibson SG Standard. some other wiring problems could be the cause. I would suggest taking it to a local guitar repair shop. Most of the time, its nothing big and can be repaired for little cost.
