How can you rely on faith alone?

If you don't have faith that Jesus is God and that he died for the sins of Christians then you can't go to heaven and live eternal life, instead you are condemned in hell.

I have faith in myself

I have faith that my answers can be violated on YA as my last one did

but to have faith in some supernatural being having control of my destiny is absurd

and if you believe Jesus or god will save you, take a leap of faith off a tall building and see if he or she catches you

Is this a question or a rant? You sound very emotional. Please calm down. Faith is the way of emotion. Find your answers with Reason instead.

We have faith in Jesus, they have faith in Muhammad, Allah is another name for God.

We essentially believe in the same God, just different teachings/ prophets.

honestly, its more of the " I know that no one will ever know 100% either way, but for me personally, I lean more towards the christian perspective, so that is what I will believe until proven wrong".

im happy to have something to believe in. whether it is right or not, but im 100% sure it is right, it is a much better afterlife to look forward to than rotting in the ground.

you can't , even judas , hitler, and others of that ilk had faith in jesus, are they saved.

unless one has love [ charity] they are in deep trouble.

as jesus said,"not all who say lord, lord will enter the kingdom of heaven'

Faith is not belief without evidence. It is trusting in the evidence without seeing the entire picture...

You can if you don't like thinking for yourself, and are so lazy you want others to do your thinking for you.
