I've always considered karma to be a force of man. If you act well, others will see it and treat you accordingly. But many consider it to be a real universal force. But isn't that like believing in magic? Is karma, as an external force, superstitious?

Faith is belief without evidence. Theists still insist on backing up their faith with conjecture. But conjecture can be used to support any argument you want to make.

Many have faith in Jesus. Many have faith in Allah. Both cannot be right. If so many place their faith in lies, how can you trust your faith without evidence?

Does it matter to you if you're right? Or are you happy to just believe in what you want to be real, whether it is or not.

I love my girlfriend and am faithful to her. I help my friends whenever I can. Often I'll buy food for hungry people on the streets here in Vietnam. I love animals and nature, and am awed by the majesty of this life.

Yet my logical brain won't let me accept Jesus as my lord without evidence. Why do I deserve to go to hell?

Say, for example, that some of your parents, siblings, or children were not Christian. Perhaps this is not your situation, but it is a reality for many.

Now if you will be in heaven, knowing the ones you love are in hell, is that really heaven? Could you really be happy like that, and not feel eternal pain and empathy for the ones you love?

Some say heaven is perfect, without pain. But if you will feel no sorrow for the ones you love in this life, despite their eternal torment, how can you say you really love them?

As much as I love to disagree with the Christians here, I've got to admit the Muslims approach is rather annoying.

Christians rely on faith, but in embracing faith they at least admit that there is no objective evidence.

Muslims,on the other hand, seem to actually believe the Qu'ran logically demonstrates the existence of God (Allah). This psudo-intelectualism is so dishonest, but they preach it like its obvious fact.

Which is worse?

Taking religion on faith, or lying to yourself that its rationally proved fact?
