How long will it be before Ian Snell is back in the minor leagues?
After his debut with the Mariners, Snell has been awful. Six plus innings yesterday and 8 ER on 9 Hits. When will the M's realize they screwed up and demote him?

Next year, only because the rosters expand in a couple of weeks.
But this guy had one good season with the Pirates and then it went downhill. He just hasn't been the same since.

C'mon Stingray. As long as YOU have followed the Pirates, you know full well that whenever the Bucs get rid of talented players, THOSE players ALWAYS, and I mean 100 PERCENT of the time ALWAYS, go IMMEDIATELY to another team and contribute to THAT team making the post season. They also usually play well in the post season THE SAME YEAR the Bucs get rid of them! { and make no mistake about it, even though Snell is far from eating world class lineups alive like he did in 2006, he DEFINITELY has TALENT! In fact, If the Snell of just a few years ago played on a contender, he would have DEFINTELY been a 20 game winner rather than a 14 game winner } He has struggled quite a bit through the last season and a half. But that talent is STILL there.
I predict that Snell will help the Mariners make a wild card run, and IF Seatle makes the post season, you had better bet your bottom dollar that the Snell from 2006 will show up!
YOU CAN BET ON IT!

Most likely they won't send him down again this year because like the guy said a few answers above me said the rosters will be expanding soon so they probably just won't play him much and just move him to the bullpen until he proves himself.

He had a rough outing against a good offensive team. That type of performance is not un heard of. He should be fine as a number 5 guy he is supposed to give up runs I think he will be fine

The rosters expand in just over two weeks. Then they can just bury him at the back of the bullpen, if that's what is needed.

he'll come around. he can be a great number 4 or 5 starter. he just needs to regain confidence.
