ok serious question: I just saw a commercial that talks about Ford's "F-series" which is supposed to be?
America's favorite car... Does Ford have an O-series, an R-series, or a D-series? I'm asking this as a totally serious question.

currently, no ford does no have any other series than than the F series. In the united states.
A, AC, B, C, F, K, N, R, S, T, V, Y series were in the early 1900's
P seriesin the 1960's
A, C, D, E, F, H, L, T, W series were past models mostly out of the country
and thats all i know of. No this is not a joke. Although it sounds weird, these were made by Ford
Not to mention tractors, buses and military vehicles all had their own series.

The Ford F - series. F 150 up to the F 650 ( I think that is the last in the F series, i'm not sure ). Most people don't buy above the F-350 for everyday use. The F series trucks have been around for quite some time, I think they debuted as the F-100 in the late 40's or early 50's. Basically the best selling truck series in America. And the best guess as to why they chose "F" is because they are Ford. They are very durable trucks that withstand a beating. We have a 1995 F-150 we use on the farm, got it when it was new and have never had anything go wrong with it.

F stands for Ford series. At present no other series for trucks, E series is for full size vans.

No, Ford has only an f series pick-up. Never made anything else.
And they are America's favorite vehicle in Ford's eyes only
