I wanna go back to Disney World!!!WARNING:long post?

Sorry, this isn't really a question, but I felt the need to post this. I went to Disney World a few weeks ago, and I wanna go back!! Everything there is amazing, the parades the fireworks, the different types of shows you can see. During the parade at Magic Kingdom my mouth hung open the whole time, it was like living a dream. The fireworks their are cool, although I did jump every time they shot one off (because of my Cerebral Palsy). I said to my mother on the first day "I ain't leavin this place without a pair of Mickey Mouse years on top of my head!" I left the after the 1st day with a pair of Mickey Mouse ears on top of my head!! lol.

At Sea World the part I enjoyed the most was seeing the penguins, lol they look so funny!! I just lost it!! The whale and dolphin shows are also amazing. I was disappointed that they only had little sharks in, I wanted to see a big one like Jaws. But oh well.

My favourite at Animal Kingdom was when the one big gorilla walks right out in front of us, turns his back towards us, and takes a crap lol!! We also went on this animal Sapphira(spelt right?) thing, where they take you in a van thing to see the differentr animals free, and walking around. The lady driving say before we go: "The animals tcan come right up to you, making for some great pictures." Here I am strapped in my wheelchair thinking: "Oh God, let me off now!!" lol.I wanted to go see the Lion King show, but it was a 50 minute wait!! Went to go see a bird show instead, the coolest part about that was when they brought an eagles out, I'm a Philadelphia Eagles football fan, so I thought that was cool.

The ride Soarin' at the Epcot Centre is amazing!! It looks so real, for those of you that have been there, you know the part where the guy tee's off the golf ball, I put my hands up!! lol (I thought it was going to hit me!!). We also went back home to Canada for a few minutes!! lol

I couldn't go on any roller coasters and things, because I wouldn't have been able to sit down in them. Um, I think that about covers it, if I think of more stuff I will add. Sorry for the long post, but I miss that place so much. Oh yeah we wanted to go on Space Mountain but it was under construction or something.

Have you ever been to Disney World? What were your Highlights?

PS: Sorry for any left over spelling errors, I tried to fix'em but spell check was messing my post up.

Update:

Oh yeah, I also go dumped on ay Epcot

Update 2:

joy - can I come with?

My husband, daughter, & I just came back from Walt Disney World. We were there for 3 weeks, & it still didn't seem like enough. I have a cousin who has cerebral palsy too. Her case is quite severe, but she always has a smile on her face & does the best she can & is so loving & caring for others. It sounds like you are a lot like her; energetic & happy. I admire her & you, because things can be more challenging to do but the two of you go on & meet those challenges. Some other people get upset at some really small things. EPCOT is our favorite too. I love the countries; the attractions, the buildings, the food. I love the part in Soarin' when Tinkerbell comes out at the end & waves her wand. I feel like she just gave me some pixie dust & I can fly. Right after that the ride goes backwards & takes you back & I feel like I'm flying back to the ground. Mickey Mouse ears are fun. We have several of them. Disney is a very magical place to be. I celebrated my birthday there this year. That's a special place to be on your birthday. We went to Sea World too. We did a behind the scenes tour & got to pet a penguin. Bush Gardens is nice too. We got to feed some exotic birds there. I don't like rollercoasters, but I love the sights, sounds, food, & shows. It sounds like you have some great memories!

I just went to Disney on August 14th for the whole entire day, it was amazing! I hadn't been since June 5th.

All the rides and food and everything else was great! Even though it was really hot, I enjoyed all of it.

I took the monorail ride from Magic Kingdom to Epcot (takes about 15 minutes because you have to ride two different monorails) and I hadn't been to Epcot either since June 5th and it was better!

All of the rides at Disney are great, and I love It's A Small World and Pirates of the Caribbean!

  • I went Disney World and Universal Studios and road every roller coaster there. Then a ran all the way to Japan while it pouring rain to just to buy some action figures. I spent about 100 bucks on just action figures. It was the best 3 days of my life. I did a bunch other stuff I don't feel like typing. I don't even feel like finishing this sen

Sask Oh my goodness, this is very serious! You have been exposed to the deadly and contagious WDW disease ~ the only way to help you recover is start planning/saving for your next Disney World holiday.

There is NO chance for your recovery or a cure once you have been exposed to Disney-itis Bug.

Get a Piggy Bank and start saving pennies/dimes and ask your parents to toss their change in it too. Tell them what it's for. My kids would want to visit local fairs, instead we'd put the money we would have spent at the fair in the piggy bank. Their birthday money ( well some of it) went to the bank too.

LOL. I love Disney too! I am old enough to watch the original Mouseketeer tv shows and the Wonderful World of Walt Disney. Truly hate that so many people have grown up and not seen Walt Disney and his shows when he was living. (They are probably on YouTube if you want to check it out).

Anyway, I view Mr. Disney as a hero ~ not just for MIckey Mouse & building Disneyland ~ but for so many other things he was involved in. Don't want to give you a history lesson here, sorry ((*<*)) .

Too keep track of Disney World news save some of these sites to your favorites and you can keep track of WDW news. You'll find out when Space Mountain reopens too ~ it's being refurbished.

Also you can sign up for email newsletter at: http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/ It's Disney's official site ~ you get games and fun stuff there as well. http://www.wdwmagic.com/

    http://www.wdwmagic.com/

    http://www.wdwinfo.com/

I would love for you to meet me at WDW when I go. My sons are grownup now and we are leaving Sept. 18 for 8 nights at Ft Wilderness Cabins. If there was room for you ~ you would be very welcome to visit with us. I am not an axe murderer btw. LOL.

Next time please go see Lion King ~ it is Awesome. And I love Finding Nemo Show in Animal Kingdom show too. Did you see It's A Bug's Life? Love it too!!

Peter Pan may be corny but it's a fave. So is Philharmagic and Pirates of Caribbean and Big Thunder Mountain and eating at Crystal Palace with Pooh and Friends when we'rer at Magic Kingdom.

Hollywood Studios faves are Tower of Terror and all the action shows. Well I could go on and on ~ but I have "Disney-itis" and need to take a rest and recover. LOL.
