Siamese kitten name. Would love help finding a great name for a female kitten.?

Getting a female kitten in one week. Will be 6 weeks old at that time. Using this week to think of unique name. This kitten is a seal-point siamese ( black toes, ear tips and mussel. Off white body, electric blue eyes). The Siamese is from Siam -- which is now Thailand. I was looking towards a native Thailand name but haven't seen anything I like yet. But, guess what...doesn't have to be a native name.

I have a Doberman, Ozzy ( Ozzy Osbourne ), a German Shepherd, Chief Brody ( Chief of police in movie Jaws ), a blk/wh Tuxedo cat, Heidi ( from the little girl in the Swiss Alps ), and a solid black cat, Jillian ( Trainer in the T.V. show Biggest Loser ) -----so, I'm not restricted to Thailand names.

Just want something unique. I prefer "real" names, as you see my other pets are named, versus names like Fluffy or Peanut

This is an important decision for me. The "average" Siamese cat lives 17 yrs.--although, living into their 20's is not at all uncommon.

Come on all my friends out there --- help me --- and THINK !!!!

Thanks so much in advance to everyone who takes the time to really think and answer my question. MANY of you will have excellent answers and I can only chose ONE as the best answer -- doesn't mean your answer wasn't awesome.

Footnote: If not familiar with this cat----don't answer my question until you go to yahoo, or any other site, and look at Seal Point Siamese images. You can also read up a little about the personality---that they never shut-up--are loud--need constant human attention--and will vocally drive you nuts until their "needs" are met.

If you are not familiar with the looks and attitude of the particular cat breed, please check out images first. Once you have seen that, I know you will brain-storm with awesome ideas for names.

Thank you everyone.

Wait until the kitten is 8 weeks old before you bring it home. It will be so much better adjusted at this age. 6 week old kittens are not entirely weaned and the mother can teach them so much in that extra two weeks.

Siamese are a beautiful breed and have a personality all their own. Mine is named Misha. My daughters Siamese was named Siam. He lived to be 23 years old. Geisha, Lola, Lotus Flower, or any exotic name would be great.

Names are important to me too, I understand. I would just pick something that seems to fit her and that you find beautiful. My boy looks Siamese (but isn't) and we can him Simon. He name really seems to fit him. You could even go with something like Simone. Or Siamese are so graceful and elegant in their movements - almost musical or ballet moves at times. What about Grace or even Lyric?

Since it is from Thailand you should name her Siam

I struggled with this exact problem about a month ago for my 2 kittens that we adopted. With the male, we agreed to keep his name given to him by his foster mom (Darwin, my husband really liked it). For our female (her foster mom named her Brae) I really liked "Kechi" pronounced Kee Chi which means little one, which she was. It's Hungarian, not Thai but the meaning is what counted for me. You can drive yourself crazy looking for names so I recommend going for meanings instead.

My daughter-in-law calls her Siamese cat "Siam". Why not? Or call her "Cleo" for Cleopatra.
