Do you want eternal life with God?

YES i do.

It would be great privilege if i ascend to heaven to be with the myriads and myriads of angels worshiping and serving God. But did you know that only chosen people with limited number and a special purpose go to heaven? The greater number of people will "inherit the earth" [Matthew 5.5] and "will reside forever upon it" [Psalm 37.29]

Please note the following scriptures:

Luke 12:32: “Have no fear, little flock, because your Father has approved of giving you the kingdom.”

Rev. 14:1-3: “I saw, and, look! the Lamb [Jesus Christ] standing upon the Mount Zion and with him a hundred and forty-four thousand having his name and the name of his Father written on their foreheads. . . . And they are singing as if a new song . . . and no one was able to master that song but the hundred and forty-four thousand, who have been bought from the earth.”

Rev. 20:6: “They will be priests of God and of the Christ, and will rule as kings with him for the thousand years.” (Also Daniel 7:27)

To answer your question, yes we need to live the way God wants us to live to inherit everlasting life, whether in heaven as "co-ruler with Christ" or in a restored Paradise Earth [Luke 23.43]

(Psalm 37:11) . . .But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth, And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.

Only those who obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ will make heaven. This gospel is called the water and the Spirit.

John 3:3-5 means, "If someone wants to be born again, they should be born of water and the Spirit. Here water means the baptism of Jesus, which does away with all the sins of the world once and for all. The Spirit means that Jesus who received baptism from John the Baptist is God Himself.”

Its a gift from heaven, so you can't earn it by trying to live your life self righteously.

What am I doing to make heaven my home? The same thing that I do to get the leprechaun in my ear to stop yelling profanity at me, nothing. "we know"? Who is "we" and what proof do you have? God cannot be proven so why would I devote my life to someone that was invented by humans who originally worshiped the sun? I am living my life happy and to the fullest, the right way.

Are YOU living the way he wants? Are YOU living life your own way? I think it is better to focus on yourself than to focus on other people with this subject. You will only find frustration if you try to push your beliefs on other people.

Eternity would get pretty boring after a while. I'd rather be reincarnated with no memories of my past life, get a chance to live a better life.

I will attain heaven by the grace of God. I don't deserve it and can't earn it. It's a gift from God to us made possible through the love, merit, and sacrifice of Jesus on our behalf. I want to give God thanks and glory. I want to strive to do what's good, helpful,and profitable to others and self. We need to know and strive to keep the commandments, repent of our sins, and strive to do the will of God.

I'm living the way that God wants me to live, and I've accepted Jesus Christ as my lord and savior.

If you are saved then for all intents and purposes you already have eternal life with God right here and now.

I would rather live for a short time than exist for eternity.

When I die, I want that to be it, the complete end to life in any form. I don't understand why some people long to live forever.
