Why do some people insist that Obama's Town Hall meeting was 'fake',couldn't one say the same about McCain's?

McCain had almost exclusively town hall meetings. It was his favorite way of speaking to his followers, who were hand-picked.

They haven't caught "people" pretending to be "doctors" at Obama meetings, they caught 1 person pretending to be a doctor at a Democratic meeting, not one of Obama's.

The list of Republican functionaries pretending to be regular housewives and students is huge. How about the college student who challenged Obama to an "Oxford-style" debate? He forgot to mention that he has been working as a staffer for a Republican elected official.

How about Katy Abrams, the woman who was never interested in politics before this issue came up? Except that she has had a group on meetup organizing for Glenn Beck for 3 years.

Who was that woman in Illinois who said she was just a housewife who lived down the street, when in fact she was last year's Illinois Republican party chairman?

And the guy waving a sign and leading chants while wearing an Anthem shirt. Wow.

Do you not think we should expect better than a staged production from our president? Or is it okay with you that his to town hall meetings are all rehearsed. Give me a break. Obama is as phony as ever.

And comparing him to McCain or anyone else makes no difference at all.. he is the president.. do you think that if McCain jumped off a bridge Obama should do it too. ( not that I wouldn't endorse this wholeheartedly)

What town hall did McCain have on television? Obama's was a press conference. He spoke four times more than he listened. That is not a town hall. There was no way they were going to let him be asked difficult questions. He can't handle it without a teleprompter

McCain is not the President. Obama promised transparency, among many other things that he has not delivered on. Snap out of it.

When somebody stands up in a townhall meeting in Montana and announces he's an NRA member and two or three people clap, you know something isn't right

All meetings are fake if the questions are picked and reviewed prior to the meeting, so they know what to expect.

You could say anything you wanted-but whether it is true or not is a different story.

They have caught people posing at Obama town halls claiming to be doctors who were in fact paid DNC staffers.
