Alexi Laiho, I heard he was pretty sloppy.

Nope, you didn't. Well...depending on when you were last here, you may or may not know that Man Egg L is no longer a troll.

*Gem: Yeah, I heard Laiho was pretty sloppy live, probably because he never plays sober.

    Kurt Cobain

He is actually my favorite guitarist

I know nothing about guitar playing. But people who do play tell me he was technically simple, but amazingly creative. All i know is that his songs always sounded powerful, they sound awesome! I love the aching melody of All apologies, and i think everyone loves the sound of Come as you are. I'm not bothered how simple Kurt's guitar playing may have been, he made stuff that sounded good! Isn't that the point?

Bending the Skies - LOL, I was thinking of alexi laiho when I was reading this question, haha. I'm not sure if he's sloppy though, despite the fact that i've listened to a lot to all of Children of Bodom's albums

Stephen Malkmus plays the slop so beautifully. Most notably in the Pavement days, he's tightened it all up a bit with age. It's not in a bad way, he's still great and still quirky, just less sloppy.

    "Countess Bathory"

This song sounds just like Nirvana backwards. For real.

BA: You've missed nothing. R&P is just like a soap opera. You can go a month without tuning in, and get caught up in 5 minutes.
