Does the Constitution allow the military to overthrow the Obama administration and the Democratic Party?

According to the Constitution the military is permitted to overthrow any party that is abusing their powers. The question is if Obama and the Democrats are abusing their powers? The answer is yes with out a doubt. The Democratic party has abused their powers when they used their government positions to allow their sponsors to use the airways, public schools, colleges, park systems, both Houses, the Judiciary and the Presidency to cause half of the citizens of the United States to act discriminatory against Christians so that they could create an atmosphere in which they could get away with the criminal act of fabricating the fallacious First Amendment redefinition called "separation of church and state" so that they could create a Constitutional mandate to force Christians to act like Atheists in public and thereby conform to the Socialists goal to establish Atheism as the state religion in America and so that their Socialist judges could get away with the criminal act of citing the legal precedence of other nations in order to change the laws in America to conform with the Socialist's agenda to legalize the Socialist mores in America.

    Why don't you try READING the Constitution?

    The military is completely under civilian control at the very top. Congress mandates its manpower and funding. The President orders it to go to this country or that one. It has no say in these issues. The federal military is not authorized to act in ANY capacity within our borders except in the case of a catastrophic disaster, and even then, its powers are limited.

    The military is not going to overthrow anybody, unless somebody like Hitler took over the country. And I don't see that as very likely. Maybe you equate Democrats with Hitler, I don't know.

    Our government is representative. This means the majority wins, and rules. Fortunately, there's a change up possible every four years. The people have a voice. Nobody "abused" anybody into electing Democrats this go round. Never fear, by 2016, the Republicans will likely be back in power again, most likely.

    I may disagree with the Commander in Chief and his recent pick to the Supreme Court on what the Constitution means but that is a far cry from being a domestic enemy of the Constitution.

    While you are correct that yes the oath of enlistment does require me to "Support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies both foreign and domestic, " before it it requires me to "Obey the orders of the President of the United States," you are flat out wrong on your assumption that Obama has violated the Constitution to the point that a military coup is in order.

    If a President ever decided to proclaim themselves President for Life, arrested the House of Representatives and the US Senate, or tried to get rid of the 9 justices on the Supreme Court maybe the oath would require the military to march on DC but a simple disagreement on what the Constitution means is no such reason and quite frankly I would smoke any Soldier in my section who said it did. Under your theory we should have had a military coup every few years as ever since the Constitution was written people have been in disagreement over what it means (IE Federalists V. Anti Federalists, and strict interpritation V. a living breathing document) A military coup is an event that is to serious to joke about and, as for myself I will be saddened if the day ever came the US military had to conduct one.

    If you do not like the current President you get your chance in 2012 to get rid of him at the ballot box. You should not want the Army rolling in to DC with Abrams Tanks to do that. In 99.9999% of all cases such talk is about as Un-American as you can get.

    Which provision of the US constitution did you say it was permits this?

    How many times has the US military overthrown a political party?

    Also who is it decides who is abusing their powers? The military themselves?

    And what happens after the military overthrows a political party? Does the constitution also allow them to set up a one-party state?

    Please give me facts where Obama or any democrat is abusing any power,and what sponsors are you talking about??Do we have to believe exactly like you?and if we don't is this the people you're talking about?If you are a true christian,no law or person will change your faith.For your information atheism isn't a faith.Just the opposite.You need to go to church and say 7 hail mary's.

    As much as I would love to, I'm afraid the U.S. Constitution doesn't make any such provisions for the military to overthrow the lawfully elected government. Besides, if we overthrew the government, who would sign our paychecks?

    No, but if you read the Declaration of Independence it says that it is the duty of the people to over throw a tyanical government:

    "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness."
