What would be the most disturbing movies ever made?
On my list...
Irreversible
Requiem For A Dream
Jacob’s Ladder
Audition
Hard Candy
Not necessarily horror, just disturbing in images, plots and characters?

Irreversible is #1 for sure but tied with Pink Flamingos. Well, maybe the edge goes to Pink Flamingos really. Full Metal Jacket and Apocalypse Now are tied for the most disturbing war films ever I'd say.
Fire In The Sky is fairly disturbing since it's supposedly a true story. The Mothman Prophecies and White Noise are pretty disturbing psychologically , also because they are supposedly based on true events. In The Mouth Of Madness is a pretty crazy film to say the least. So psychological that I know men that refuse to watch the whole thing lol.
Faces of Death I don't consider disturbing, just pure sickening. I'm not interested in actually watching real people die in front of me. That just seems purely wrong that people would watch those for enjoyment or entertainment. Irreversible or Pink Flamingos fine, but real snuff type films are a little overboard I think.

I despise these next few movies because they are truly sickening in their depraved efforts to disturb us. They succeed: Seed - Nothing but nothing good happens in this film. Meaning it is just evil and vile in everything that goes on. Babies murdered on screen and actual footage of animals skinned alive. The Header - the most disgusting act of violence I've ever seen.I didn't get past the first ten minutes of this movie before I had to take it out and blast Netflix for having such a sick movie available. Chaos - with Kevin Gage as a serial killer. It was sickening. For the record I didn't know any of these movies would be so nasty.
